摘要
Present economic situation imposes flexibility as the primary objective of any information technology (IT) project. The paper analyses project and modeling techniques used to achieve flexibility of the final project result. Process and value chain modeling perspectives and their interdependencies are analyzed. Agile methods used for rapid software implementation are compared with waterfall and spiral project methods. As the information technologies projects are placed in social environment, local intelligence in deployed software modules could bring more flexibility what leads to necessity to look into software agent implementation possibilities. Based on the analysis results the paper asserts that there is no appropriate method usable for all project stages. Classification of project methods most appropriate for each TT project stage is presented and discussed in the conclusion.
