摘要
We investigated the effect of postfabrication annealing on optical and photocatalytic properties of hydrothermally grown zinc oxide nanorods. Three annealing conditions (oxygen flow, forming gas flow, and zinc ambient) were performed at 250 degrees C and 350 degrees C. Optical properties (photoluminescence spectra) and photocatalytic activities of the rods were examined. Effects of annealing on the optical properties and photocatalytic activities of hydrothermally grown ZnO nanorods were discussed in detail.
