摘要
3S' technology system is one of the high technologies on the geographic field that consists of remote sensing (RS), geography information system (GIS) and global position system(GPS). It can sample, edit, manage, analyze and describe the special data automatically or semiautomatically that can benefit the use of digital technology in keeping the soil and water conservation. At present, we have accomplished the remote sensing general investigation of soil erosion, the dynamic monitor of soil and water conservation in the key areas of the Yellow River basin and the geography information of key branches in this basin based on the 3S" technology. In this paper, we summarize the work that has been (lone and brought forward some technologies and methods on collecting and processing of soil and water conservation information I the dynamic monitoring of soil and water conservation, set up of soil and water reservation information system, which will serve the digit-at system of soil and water conservation and the digital Yellow River project
