摘要
A dynamic quench model that predicts strength under continuous cooling conditions was developed using step-quenching data obtained by cooling to successively lower temperatures at one rate followed by quenching at a faster rate. The model is useful in constructing continuous cooling-property (CCP) curves, which have greater practical utility than traditional time-temperature-property (TTP) curves established under isothermal conditions. It is also applicable to complex quenching operations such as those used to minimize residual stresses and distortion. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
