摘要
The Telescope Array (TA) experiment is the only ultra high energy cosmic ray observatory in the northern hemisphere. In addition, it will be the world's first air shower detector to be directly calibrated by an on-site accelerator beam. For wider and deeper understanding of cosmic rays by via high precision measurements, we have undertaken the study of extension plans for TA. One extension plan will extend the sensitive energy range of TA down to 10(17) eV. A second plan would extend of the aperture area of the SD array. These plans are described in this note.
