摘要
Air traffic has been growing at a rate that outstrips the capacity of the airports. With the advent of globalisation of trade and growing reliance on air cargo to meet the global supply chain management demand for just-in-time delivery of material and goods, it is paramount to effectively plan and enhance air cargo systems. This paper seeks to discuss the methodology, modelling approaches, application of operational research/management science/system analysis (OR/MS/SA) in the planning and design of air cargo systems in the past decades in Hong Kong.
