摘要
Various approaches used in literature for the calculation of ideal speeds of sound which are further used to evaluate the quantity which may be deviations in speeds of sound Delta u or excess speeds of sound u(E) have been analyzed for 2-methoxyethanol + 2-(2-alkoxyethoxy)ethanol binary liquid mixtures. Different numerical values are obtained for different approaches which will give rise to different interpretations of the results. Further, physico-chemical parameters for pure components and binary liquid mixtures have been calculated. Speeds of sound have also been estimated using theoretical models.
