On the Precoder Design for MIMO Systems over Correlated Rician Channels

摘要
In this paper, a precoding scheme for multiple antenna systems over correlated Rician fading channels is proposed. Based on the channel mean and spatial correlation, the proposed scheme updates the eigenvalues and eigenvector matrix of the precoding matrix, successively. Due to the unitary property, the problem associated with the eigenvector matrix can be modified as a Quadratically Constrained Quadratic Problem (QCQP). The Lagrange dual relaxation is applied to solve the QCQP by Semidefinite Programming (SDP). On the other hand, the problem associated with the eigenvalues is convex, thus optimal solution can be obtained for the following update. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can guarantee the convergence and the symbol error rate (SER) performance is superior to that of the existing schemes.
