摘要
Analysis of early time spectra of type la supernovae is presented. "Abundance Tomography" is explained as a method to derive detailed abundance distribution of the supernova (SN) ejecta. Results from the application of this method to SN 2002bo are shown and conclusions on the explosion mechanism are drawn.
