摘要
The possibility of manufacturing asphalts from Astrakhan gas-condensate atmospheric resid undergoing electromagnetic treatment in a vortex layer unit (VLU) with and without addition of sulfur was discussed. The asphalts were manufactured on an intermittent laboratory set-up consisting of an oxidation column and system for feeding and regulating the air in the reactor and gas treatment system. Oxidation was conducted at 275°C and air flow rate of 2.5 liters/min per min per kg of feedstock. Results show that it is economically more expedient to manufacture asphalts from gas-condensate atmospheric resid undergoing electromagnetic treatment in the presence of 1-3 wt. % sulfur.
