摘要
Sr-La-Co M-type fer-rite fine particles were prepared by mechanical compounding (MC) method using the planetary ball-mill and subsequent heat treatment. This experiment was carried out to investigate the magnetic properties of Sr-La-Co M-type ferrite magnets prepared by spark plasma sintering (SPS) method using powders made by the MC method. The optimum condition of making SPS magnet, and some properties of a typical specimen are as follows: chemical composition, SrO(.)6.0Fe(2)O(3); additives, 1.0wt% La2O3 and 0.1 wt% Co3O4; pressing pressure, 50 MPa; sintering condition: 1100degreesC x 5 min. Magnetic and physical properties are B-t = 0.323 T, H-eJ = 325 kA/m, (BH)(max) = 18.3 kJ/m(3), and density = 5.15 Mg/m(3). (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
