摘要
With the rapid development of the economy, ecological security is becoming more necessary, and how to express the status and degree of ecological environment quantitatively is an important issue. The regional eco-environmental assessment(REA) is the important basis for the rational resources development, the social and economic sustainable development planning, and the eco-environmental protection. A new model for regional eco-environmental quality evaluation was established by five element connection number based on set pair analysis in the paper. And an applied example was studied with more satisfactory results: the eco-environmental quality of the whole Chaohu basin and its subregion Chaohu and Lu'an are grade IV, and the subregion Hefei is grade III. Compared with the unascertained measurement evaluation method, this model is perfect, the evaluating result is more reasonable and its resolving power is higher. Thus, a simple and effective evaluation method is provided for regional eco-environmental quality evaluation.
