Stochastic Operation Security with Demand Response and Renewable Energy Sources

摘要
This paper proposes a day-ahead scheduling model which incorporates demand response (DR), intermittent renewable energy sources, load forecast errors, and random outages of generating units and transmission lines. Economic and emergency DR options and operating characteristics of loads such as bidding curves, DR reserves, and physical load constraints are taken into account. Numerical results are offered as part of the presentation.
