Research of a special city type - Scientific-technological city

As we known with the adjustment and upgrade of the industrial structure, the scientific -technological cites abroad such as France Island, Italian Aulyuse, American Silicon Valley, British Cambridge and Japan Tsukuba occupied the highlands of the industrial structure of the world successfully, and become the growth sources of the science and economy of the world. For the nations and regions which were far away from the economic centers of the world in the past or were limited by the transportation, the economic globalization and informationization bring them a good opportunity to get rid of poverty. The economic globalization will result in the change of new economy structure and industrial reassemble in the whole world. The concentration of the high-tech industries and the construction of scientific-technological city will offer a reasonable path to realize an over-step development. This paper will analyzes the background, basic characteristics, developing tracks of the science- technology cities in the world in order to help to guide the construction of the scientific- technological cities in China.
