摘要
The building industry is a field processing significant volumes of raw materials. Together with building industry development connected with the general advancement of modem society, the loading of material bases grows as well and the irreversible consumption of some non-renewable raw materials occur. The raw material consumption often occurs already in the phase of building material production in dependence on the respective total production energy intensity. From the environmental point of view, the other very important aspect is the energy intensity of the building structures. The usage of quality thermal-insulating materials, correct design of energy-saving building structures and, last but not least, additional thermal insulation of existing constructions have the key importance as regards lowering their energy intensity which results in restricting the gas, soot and dust emissions with a direct influence on improvements of the living environment. The paper describes the manufacturing possibilities with regard to thermal-insulating and acoustic-insulating materials based on natural fibres from easily renewable material resources provided by the agriculture.
