Effects of non-zero values of microrotation vector on the walls on squeeze film behavior of micropolar fluid

摘要
The aim of the paper is to examine the influence of the boundary conditions to be satisfied by the microrotation vector on the hydrodynamic quantities characterizing the squeeze film flows. We present a theoretical study of squeeze films between two circular plates. We examine the tribological quantities: load capacity, and the time approach. The results obtained and their comparison with the experimental data presented by Needs [14] shows, that the influence is considerable and depends on the parameters characterizing "micropolarity" of the fluid.
