摘要
We have developed a car-mounted neutron and gamma monitoring system as a nuclear material detection system (NMDS). The system has been equipped with Geiger Muller detector (GM) and NaI(Tl) detectors for gamma-ray surveillance, and He-3 detector for neutron surveillance. The customized interface board based on ARM core CPU and graphical user interface (GUI)-based software provide the system with counting and spectroscopy functions of gamma-ray and neutron in each window. The system showed good performances in detecting and analyzing suspicious radioactive materials even at low-level activities. (C) 2009 Published by Elsevier B.V.
