A porous Cu(II) metal-organic framework: Synthesis, crystal structure and gas adsorption properties

摘要
Presented here is a new porous Cu(II) metal-organic framework, namely [Cu(tdc)(H2O)](n)center dot n(DMA) (1 H(2)tdc = thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid, DMA = N,N'-dimethylacetamide), which was obtained by the self-assembly reaction of CuCl2 and H(2)tdc under solvothermal conditions. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that compound 1 features a 3D porous framework based on ID chain structure sub-units, and the 1D rhombohedral channels are occupied by the lattice DMA molecules. Gas adsorption studies reveal that this desolvated sample exhibit high uptake capacity for light hydrocarbons. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
