The diagnosis of a generator set based on modem nonlinear theory

摘要：
The familiar mechanical faults of the generator set are introduced. Usually, the fractal and chaos theories are used to analyze the working state of a nonlinear system. hi this paper, the fractal characteristics and the phase plane portrait of the generator set are studied. The research results show that the correlation dimension and Phase plane portrait of vibration signal of the generator set is different for the different running state and can be used to recognize the generator set fault. The rule for the generator set fault diagnosis is given by using fractal theory.
