C2Mesh New Interconnection Network Topology Based on 2D Mesh

摘要
Mesh and Torus are most popular interconnection topologies, based on 2D-Mesh a new interconnection network topology, the Center-Connected Mesh (C(2)Mesh) is proposed. The C(2)Mesh, perform better than the simple 2D mesh and torus interconnection networks. This paper presents an introduction to the new topology C(2)Mesh and analyzes its architectural potential in terms of routing algorithms. Topological properties of the nxn C(2)Mesh network are presented.
