Potential for imaging the inner lobes of Centaurus A using Fermi-LAT data of high directional reconstruction quality

摘要
We present an analysis of Fermi Large Area Telescope Pass 8 data of high directional reconstruction quality collected from the Centaurus A gamma-ray core above the break energy in its high-energy spectrum. The performed analysis shows that the observed spatial distribution of gamma-rays coincides with the inner radio lobes. This fact provides us with evidence that the observed gamma-ray emission is, to some extent, generated in these structures of Centaurus A. The accumulation of gamma-ray events of high accuracy of the directional reconstruction is required for further investigation.
