摘要
A good understanding of temperature effect on structural strain is necessary for structural health monitoring on Tibetan ancient building. This paper addresses the model of measured strain and temperature for a typical Tibetan ancient building, which has been instrumented with a long-term structural health monitoring system. Based on five months measurement data obtained from 8 FBG sensors installed on the structure, the correlations of strain-temperature for the structure is performed. Analysis results reveal that temperature is the critical source causing the strain variability, and there is an overall increase in strain with temperature for all beams and columns. Then, a statistical model using linear regression is further applied to formulate the correlation of strain and temperature. It is showed that the linear model exhibit good capabilities for mapping between strain and temperature and the proposed method can effectively eliminate the temperature effect from the strain series.
