An OADM Based on Cascaded Phase-Shifted Linearly Chirped Fiber Grating and Mach-Zehnder Interferometer

摘要
In this paper, a new structure of optical add-drop multiplexer based on cascaded phase shifted linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating (CPSLCFBG) and Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) is proposed. The spectrum of drop port and output port of the OADM is analyzed using transmission matrix method by optimizing of CPSLCFBG with Cap apodization function. At the port of the drop and the output, which has equidistant multi channels with almost equal output power and very narrow bandwidth, even about 40 channels, and the transmission performance is very good.
