摘要
Observing that during adolescence school achievement is associated not only to several personality variables, but also with variables related to the students' learning process and attitude towards school, we aimed at analysing the level to which these variables lead to school achievement or to failure. Starting from the assertion that teenage students that prove interest towards school learning obtain higher results, comparing to those having a negative attitude towards school activities, we have analysed, by means of an opinion questionnaire, the impact of these variables in gaining school achievement. The conclusions of the study show that, on the whole, the negative attitude towards school activity, expressed by school truancy, largely explains the poor school results in teenagers.
