Fabrication of Micro-tip for Coupling to Wire Waveguides

摘要
There is a problem of dimensional mismatch in the connection from the optical fiber to the wire waveguide. We fabricated micro-tip with light curable resin at the optical fiber edge. The emitted light from the fiber was collected by the micro-tip, and the spot size became several microns.
