摘要
A piecewise Markovian transition model for the analysis of incomplete life history data is proposed. Based on the observed followed-up time points, we partition the time axis into a set of disjoint time intervals and assume a constant intensity within each interval. A quasi-scoring algorithm is used to obtain the estimated transition intensities. Model assessment based on the Cochran-Mantel-Haenszel statistic and a sample reused validation procedure is discussed. Data from a reproductive survey and a stroke study are used as examples to illustrate the proposed model. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
