摘要
This paper represents a miniaturized eighth-mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide (EMSIW) filter. The EMSIW cavity is used for the size reduction of the overall circuit. In addition, slots are implemented on the surface of the filter to lower the dominate mode frequency of the EMSIW cavity. In order to further improve the out of band rejection, lowpass filters are introduced on the input/output microstrips, which still keep the compact size of the filter. The proposed filter has been fabricated, and measured results are in good agreement with the simulation predictions.
