摘要
A depth average finite element model (FESWMS-2DH) and a finite difference model (FLOW-3D) were used to simulate flow patterns at a bridge with a large debris accumulation. The simulated flows from the finite element and finite difference models are described. Both produced similar flow patterns that indicated the path of debris, the locations of observed scour, and the redirection of flow toward adjacent piers by a debris accumulation.
