摘要
Calculation of the electron transport coefficients such as the mobility. transverse and longitudinal diffusion coefficients and corresponding characteristic energies was carried out in Xe gas at density 0.2 g/cm(3) (9 x 10(20) cm(-3)). Comparison between the calculation results and the experimental and theoretical data of other authors allows to choose the momentum transfer cross section of electron scattering by Xe atom. This cross section coincides with ones obtained by other authors in various energy ranges. The calculations of the electron transport coefficients based on this cross section are in good agreement with experimental ones in a wide range of the parameter E/N. An estimation of the validity boundary of gas-kinetic theory is carried out for the calculation of electron transport coefficients in dense Xe gas.
