摘要：
The purpose of this article is to make an approximation to a field of study that still remains unexplored in Mexico: that of municipal diplomatics. The analysis will focus on one of the most representative groups of documents produced by the city councils, the acts of the town hall, that are especially interesting for their wealth of information and importance in understanding local history.
