摘要
This paper analyzes the control principle of the variable retardation plates polarization controller theoretically, and deduces the relationship between the variable retardance and rotation axis of plate. By the simulation, it presents a new characteristic of the variable retardation plates polarization controller. This new feature is that the different retardance of the wave plate can affect the rotation axis of the other wave plate.
