摘要
This paper outlines the ongoing ARENA funded project at NOJA Power for the world's first large-scale deployment of synchrophasors at medium voltage distribution system. The main objectives of this project are to facilitate the integration of distributed energy resources and to solve the complex protection challenges posed by renewable integration to the distribution grid using synchrophasor data. This presentation covers the project overview, the fundamentals of the synchrophasor technology, details of the data management system, applications of synchrophasors in the distribution grid, and anticipated project outcomes. In addition, future research opportunities and guidelines for future projects will be discussed
