Vyacheslav Ivanov's Easter trip to Palestine in 1900 is considered in the article as a significant biographical fact, which was repeatedly reflected in his works. In the winter and spring of 1915, open and hidden memories of the trip became a source of inspiration for the poet. In addition to analyzing this biographical context, the article corrects the errors that have emerged in the research literature due to the false dating of the poem "The Dolphins".
