摘要
(Abstracted from J Minim Invasive Gynecol 2022; doi: 10.1016/j.jmig.2022.03.011) In conjunction with minimally invasive hysterectomy (MIH), enhanced recovery after surgery pathways allows providers to offer same-day discharge (SDD), thereby reducing hospital cost and preventing increased adverse outcomes when compared with an overnight stay. This study was a cross-sectional analysis of studies found in the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) database to describe changes in length of stay and SDD after MIH over the last decade and forecast anticipated utilization over the subsequent decade.
