摘要：
Colour is one of the most attractive aspects of textiles because, next to ornamentation, it is first perceived. In the Middle Ages, natural dyes of vegetable or animal origin were used to dye rich fabrics, with which very stable colours were obtained. This paper describes and analyzes dyes of medieval fabrics of San Isidoro de Leon to approximate its origin.
