Zur Stillung akuter oberer und unterer gastrointestinaler Blutungen im Rahmen eines Tumorgeschehens kommt heute regelhaft die endoskopische Standardmethode zum Einsatz. Pittayanon und Kollegium haben als mogliche Alternative die Effektivitat des hamostatischen Pulvers TC-325 zur Blutstillung und Pravention von Nachblutungen getestet und kommen in ihrer randomisierten kontrollierten Studie zu einem positiven Ergebnis.
