摘要
This study investigates the search for a legal framework for the civil liability of intelligent machines operating based on artificial intelligence technologies within the general and proposed regulations of Jordanian Law. It defines the liability of intelligent robots when they commit errors and cause damage to others. The study examines numerous forms of personal, contractual, and tortious liability. The study makes several recommendations, including adopting a Jordanian code of ethics for robotics and utilizing existing laws as a framework while introducing amendments. Also proposed is adding "artificial intelligence programmed activities" to Article 291 of the Jordanian Civil Code. In addition, the study suggests using objective liability standards to compensate for damages. It emphasizes the necessity of obligatory insurance for robots and registration and licensing of robots before their use.
