ChatGPT in nursing education: opportunities and challenges

摘要
Introduction: Chat Generative Pre -trained Transformer (ChatGPT), trained on big data, has the potential to be an excellent starting point resource for nursing students to expand their knowledge of basic information. Objective: This contemporary paper provides the responses given by ChatGPT for the authors' prompt on nursing education, teaching, and learning. Results: The authors explored the challenges and opportunities of using ChatGPT in nursing education with four key prompts given to ChatGPT related to teaching and learning. The response from ChatGPT was supported by evidence of benefits and risks to nursing education and practice. Conclusions: Although ChatGPT is considered controversial, given the changing landscape, rather than banning ChatGPT, educators could adopt ChatGPT as a learning assistant.
