Tief infiltrierende Endometrioseherde an den Sakrouterinligamenten, dem Rektosigmoid, der Vagina, der Blase, den Parametrien oder dem lateralen Septum rectogenitale stellen die schwersten Manifestationsformen der Beckenendometriose dar. Wie zuverlassig lassen sich diese Herde mittels gynakologischer Untersuchung, transvaginaler Sonografie bzw. Magnetresonanztomografie (MRT) allein oder in Kombination diagnostizieren?
