摘要
Digitization is ST enterprises to successfully innovate and transform. However, existing studies pay less attention to the economic benefits of digitization, especially the lack of in-depth exploration on the mechanism of the impact of bank-enterprise distance on the economic value of digitization. Therefore, based on the perspective of signal asymmetry theory, this paper using A-share listed companies from 2014 to 2021 as samples, found bank-enterprise distance cuts down the digital economic value; while financing constraints are more capable of inhibiting this weakening effect. The findings provide new perspectives and practical insights for enterprises to empower digital economic value.
