摘要
The fatigue crack growth life accounts for a considerable proportion of the entire life cycle of mechanical components. Studying fatigue crack growth life has considerable research significance. However, numerical calculation of fatigue crack growth is typically a difficult and time-consuming procedure. In this paper, a method for estimating the fatigue crack reliability considering uncertainties in the crack size ratio, stress ratio, and load fluctuations is presented. According to the experimental and finite element analysis results, the Kriging surrogate model is built to accurately reflect the potential relationship between all uncertain variables and fatigue crack life. The surrogate model method can significantly improve the calculation efficiency of fatigue crack expansion while maintaining calculation precision. In addition, the fatigue crack reliability is assessed via the Monte Carlo simulation(MCS), while the findings shows that the reliability is as high as 99.2%. This research provides an important reference value for fatigue crack life analysis.
