摘要
Here, we present the findings of acoustic shock wave processing inflicted on ammonium sulfate powder samples and demonstrate the unique phenomenon of dynamic recrystallization occurring because of the superheating of the surface within the span of milliseconds. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) clearly reveal the linear enhancement of the intensity ratio of the planes (200)/(120) and (200)/(111) under shocked conditions, and the observed results of dynamic recrystallization are highly relevant to the attachment energy theory of crystallization.
