摘要
Twenty-four of females rats (Sprague-Dawley) were used in this present study. The animals were divided randomly into two groups: the control group was orally administrated with normal saline (0.9 % NaCl2), while the second group administrated orally with vitamin C, 1000 mg/kg body weight (1 ml), and vitamin E, 400 mg/kg for 14 days. The results of the current study showed a positive effect of vitamin E and C in the growth and development of primary ovarian follicles and clarity of ovarian cortex tissue nuclei compared with the control group. Sections from treated groups also showed elevating in growth and development of primary follicles into Secondary follicles most numbers of secondary follicle had a good and normal shape they were surrounded by several rows of Cubic follicle cells and antral formation, as well as clarity of oocyte and nucleus The results also showed that administrated vitamin C and vitamin E had a greatly affected and by histological sections in increasing the numbers and volumes of corpus luteum. The results of the current study were revealed that both doses of vitamin E and C had a positive impacts on the ovary medulla there were increasing in blood supply observed in ovaries sections Blood flow to the medulla area is positively reflected on the growth and development of ovarian follicles. It was concluded from this study that orally administrated of vitamin C at does 1000 mg/kg body weight (1 ml), and vitamin Eat does 400 mg/kg lead to protect the ovaries from the harmful effect of oxygen and improve properties of the ovaries.
