摘要
This research scrutinizes the intricate effects of hydrogen charging on crystal defects and passive film properties in high-defect-density 443 ultrapure ferritic stainless steel. It discerns that with non-saturated hydrogen at hydrogen traps, escalated hydrogen charging current density results in increased hydrogen capture. These trapped atoms fill the defects, thus mitigating the stress level and fostering the growth of chromium oxides within the passive film. Consequently, the alloy's resistance to intergranular corrosion is enhanced.
