摘要
The aim of this study is to conduct an analytical and field investigation into the removal of antifreeze from a city gate station (CGS) at the city's entrance. The heater of the Robatsang CGS (30,000 SCMH) in Iran was considered for this case study. To verify the model, the experimental results for the CGS heater were compared with the results of the modeling, which revealed reasonable agreement. Based on these results, it appears that the temperature of solution in the CGS tank does not decrease more than the inlet gas temperature. Therefore, it is possible to remove ethylene glycol from the solution's bath heater. Considering the large volume of ethylene glycol required in CGS heaters, the result of this research can lead to a significant cost reduction in CGSs.
