摘要：

Here is described a new species of Jirivanaea, endemic from the Parque Nacional da Chapada dos Veadeiros, Goias State, Brazil. Jirivanaea ciliata is characterized by oblong-lanceo-late to lanceolate leaves, enlarged alar cells arranged in 1-2 rows, endostome with a high basal membrane, and single cilia larger than the segments. Illustrations and morphological description of the new species are provided, in addition to an identification key for all the Brazilian species of the genus.
