Considerations about literacy practices in digital midia times

The study is a research about fundamental concepts in the teaching-learning process with the use of literacy practices in times of digital media, and its relation to the skills to be developed. Digital Information and Communication Technologies have not emerged as a result of the educational sector, but are interdependent and complementary processes when it comes to contemporary language. The skills and competencies required are different, when language use was through speaking/listening, reading/writing. Multilingualism deals with more than just languages and functionalities; in the digital age human interaction experiences the reign of the image. We conclude that the changes arising from digital literacy and multilingualism, resulting from the use of information technologies are felt along the way. As far as teaching and learning are concerned, so far we coexist with the coexistence of methods and media.
