摘要
This paper proposes a direct speed fractional order proportional integral controller (DSFPIC) to optimize the maximum power extraction path in a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)-based wind turbine (WT), addressing the challenge of ensuring low voltage ride through (LVRT) capabilities in wind energy conversion systems (WECS) integrated into the grid. The article discusses the analysis of symmetrical voltage dips in the DFIG-based WT at a wind velocity of 8 m/s and presents a crowbar control strategy to mitigate overcurrent during dips without causing islanding. In case of a fault, the control strategy provides reactive power and facilitates voltage recovery. The entire system is modeled in MATLAB-SIMULINK, and simulation results indicate that the maximum power closely tracks with faster dynamics.
