Elastic Polarized-Proton Scattering off 3He Nuclei in the Glauber Modelwith Accounting for Spin Dependence

摘要
Differential cross sections for elasticp(3)He scattering at energies in the range of156 <= T-p <= 1000MeV and proton analyzing powers of this process are calculated on the basis of the Glauber diffraction model with allowance for the spin dependence of nucleon-nucleon amplitudes. Explicit expressions areobtained for thefirst time for all six invariant amplitudes ofp(3)He scattering for the mechanisms of single,double, and triple incident-proton scattering offtarget nucleons. Good agreement with experimentaldata is found both for the cross sections and for spin observables in the forward hemisphere of scatteringangles. Also, explicit expressions are obtained forp(3)He-scattering amplitudes violating time-reversal (T)invariance but preserving spatial parity (P). These expressions can be used in testingTinvariance in thisand other processes.
