摘要
The increasing demand for animal feed and limited availability of traditional feed raw materials have led to a growing interest in the use of alternative sources. Previous investigations have established that the Azolla plant can accelerate the growth of livestock by 10-20%. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the use of Azolla as alternative feed raw material and assess the processing technology for its potential as a sustainable solution for the feed industry. The processing technology involved a combination of physical, chemical, drying, and grinding techniques. The results showed that the processing technology significantly improved the nutritional value of the Azolla as alternative feed raw material. The physical quality of the feed was also improved, leading to better handling and storage properties. The processing technology had different effects on various feed raw materials, as Azolla required drying at a controlled temperature of 40-60 degrees C to maintain the protein content. This analysis demonstrated the potential of Azolla as an alternative feed raw material for a sustainable solution in the feed industry. The processing technology significantly improved the nutritional value of the feed, leading to better animal performance and reduced environmental impact. However, the selection of processing technology should be carefully considered based on the specific characteristics of the feed raw material, which digital manufacturing technologies play a significant role for this purpose
